Visitors will find a host of activities, talks, displays and events each week, inspired by the collection, as well as Saturday newspapers, browsing and refreshments.

We are open to Members every Saturday as usual from 10am – 4pm

29 June – Cooking the Books / Historical lunch event 12noon -2pm in the Courtenay Room / Members’ event

6 July – Exeter craft festival make and take 11am -2pm   / Family event open to all

13 July – Bookworms graduation 10.30am -12noon  / Junior members’ event

20 July – Family workshop 10.30-12noon. Literature in the Library table top display all day  / 2pm Saturday Snippet ‘Stories in the Stone, Archaeology and Literature’ with Beth Howell / Members’ event

27 July –Glorious gardens 11am -2pm  /family event open to all

3 Aug  –   Plant Hunters 11am -2pm  / family event open to all

10 Aug  –  Botanical discoveries 10am –  12noon /  Event for Autistic people (closed event)

17 Aug – Table top display all day / 2pm Saturday Snippet ‘St Nicholas Priory’ with Ben Clapp /Members’ event

24 Aug – Puppet making 11am – 2 pm / family event open to all

31 Aug  – Poetry and Place 1pm – 3pm, creative writing for children aged 7+  / family event open to all

7 Sept  – Cooking the Books – historical lunch event  in the Courtenay Room 12noon -2pm/ Bookworms cookery club 2.30pm – 3.30pm  / Members’ and Junior Members’ event

14 Sept – Bookworms do Illumination 10.30am – 12noon  / Junior Members event  /   12.30 – 4pm Heritage open day event open to all
