Research appointments to view our library collections are open to all members. Find out how to become a member by clicking here. Non-members can purchase a day membership for £10, which is payable on arrival. A table will be reserved for you in the inner library.

Please include details of the items that you would like to consult. Pre-booking is essential for all items from our Heritage collection (this helps us to preserve the books for the long term). Browsing of our modern South West collections is allowed but we would also recommend pre-booking where possible, so that the books are ready for you on arrival.

• You can also book online via our bookings system. If you are not already a member, you will need to sign up as a member first, and then you can make your collections research booking. The Librarian will contact you for details of the items that you would like to consult.
