Volunteers’ survey

Volunteers' post lockdown survey

Covid 19 - Volunteers' reopening survey

While we are putting together our final plans for our phased reopening of the DEI, we would very much like to get input from our volunteers about your willingness to return to volunteering and what concerns you may have about returning, so that we can address them and adjust our plans as necessary. The safety of our staff, volunteers and members is really important to us and we are undertaking various measures to ensure good hygiene, minimise touching points, maintain social distancing and provision of protective masks and visors where appropriate.
  • We appreciate not everyone will want to return to volunteering at this time and fully respect whatever suits you in this rather strange world we find ourselves in. It will be a great help to us to know how you are feeling.
  • We will be introducing all the relevant safety precautions such as distancing, limited numbers, sanitising/cleaning and provision of protective masks and visors, but we want to know if you have any particular concerns about your potential safety when volunteering in the building. Please select as is appropriate.
  • Please let us know about any specific concerns that you have or any particular obstacles that may prevent you from returning to your volunteering role.
  • To begin with our opening times will be limited, potentially starting with some mornings. During this initial opening period, will you be....?
  • We are planning to begin tours with a socially distanced external tour, for no more than 5. Beginning at the front of the building, going through the side entrance along the side of the library - secret door open for viewing and round to the garden. We think we could begin these tours in August, in their usual time slot.
