This year’s endangered books include John Bonnycastle’s Introduction to astronomy (1786), Friedrich Accum’s System of theoretical and practical chemistry (1803), the enlarged edition of Thomas Tredgold’s Steam engine (1838), Samuel Horsley’s Isaaci Newtoni opera (1779-1785), Ellis Veryard’s Divers choice remarks (1701) and three volumes of William Nicholson’s Journal of natural philosophy [not natural history as I called it in this video!], chemistry and the arts (1797-1801).
